SMK Kesehatan Bantul Welcomes New Academic Year 2026/2027 with Grand Ceremony and MPLS Opening
SMK Kesehatan Bantul officially opened the new academic year 2026/2027 with a solemn welcoming ceremony on Monday morning. The event was also held to mark the first day of MPLS, or Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah or School Environment Introduction Period, for new Grade 10 students.
Hundreds of new students, teachers, and school staff gathered in the schoolyard. The new Grade 10 students were warmly welcomed by seniors and teachers.
The highlight of the flag ceremony was the official address delivered by the Principal of SMK Kesehatan Bantul, Drs. Slamet Raharja, M.Pd.
In his speech, Drs. Slamet Raharja congratulated all new students for successfully joining SMK Kesehatan Bantul. He emphasized the importance of discipline, character, and competence.
The principal also officially opened the MPLS activities for 2026/2027. Throughout the MPLS week, new students will take part in various activities including school orientation, introduction to health majors, motivation sessions, and team-building games to help them adapt quickly.
Following the opening, from 08:00 to 09:00 AM, participants joined the Wawasan Wiyata Mandala session. This segment introduced students to the core principles of the school community, and educators.
Activities continued with an overview of the 2026 Curriculum, helping new students understand the subject and learning goals.
From 10:15 to 11:15 AM, the session on School Culture: Mutual Respect Among Peers and Dedication to Teachers emphasized the school’s core values. Through sharing and guidance, students learned to build positive friendships and good manners.
Next, between 11:15 AM and 12:00 PM, the school’s Public Relations team and representatives from the Bursa Kerja Khusus (Special Job Market / BKK) presented an introduction to their roles. Students gained insight into school communication channels, alumni networks, and career support services available throughout their studies and after graduation.
The first day concluded from 12:30 to 13:00 PM with a closing session featuring group reflection, prayer, and closing remarks.
