WITHDRAWAL OF FIELD WORK PRACTICE (PKL) BATCH 1
GRADE XI STUDENTS OF SMK KESEHATAN BANTUL ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
SMK Kesehatan Bantul has completed the withdrawal of Grade XI Batch 1 students who finished their Field Work Practice (Penarikan PKL) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The withdrawal was carried out two days, Thursday, April 30, 2026 and Saturday, May 2, 2026 at each Business/Industry World (DU/DI) location across Bantul Regency and surrounding areas.
The Batch 1 PKL program itself ran for two months, from March 2, 2026 to May 2, 2026. All Grade XI students from four skill competencies—Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Visual Communication Design—were placed in various institutions.
Students from Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratory Technology programs carried out their PKL at several Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Bantul Regency. During their placement, students gained direct experience in basic healthcare services, pharmaceutical services, and medical laboratory practices under the guidance of field supervisors.
Meanwhile, students from the Visual Communication Design (DKV) program completed their PKL in creative and arts industries, including: OCIG Rumah Studio, Kelik Production (Printing), Mangrove, and Rumah Terapi. At these locations, DKV students obtained real-world work experience in graphic design, photography, videography, and promotional media production.
The PKL withdrawal process was conducted directly at each DU/DI, accompanied by supervising teachers from SMK Kesehatan Bantul. On this occasion, the school representatives expressed their deepest gratitude to the heads of Puskesmas and DU/DI leaders, along with all field supervisors, for the opportunity, guidance, and knowledge given to the students during the two-month PKL period.
In a written statement, the Principal of SMK Kesehatan Bantul conveyed appreciation to all DU/DI partners. “We thank you for the synergy and cooperation that has been established. May the knowledge and experience gained by our students serve as valuable preparation for entering the workforce and pursuing higher education,” she stated.
The withdrawal at each location proceeded smoothly, orderly, and in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs from the school as a token of appreciation and memento for the PKL partner institutions.
Post-PKL Agenda
After being withdrawn from their PKL sites, all Grade XI Batch 1 students will participate in the following activities:
1. Urine Test, as part of the school’s commitment to a drug-free environment,
2. PKL Evaluation with supervising teachers,
3. PKL Presentation to report on activities conducted at DU/DI, and
4. Submission and announcement of PKL Report grades for each department.
All students are expected to gain valuable lessons and experience as competency assets in their respective fields. The school also hopes that collaboration with all DU/DI partners will continue positively in future PKL periods.
