Final Presentation for Internship (Praktek Kerja Lapangan) Batch 1 SMK Kesehatan Bantul 2026

SMK Kesehatan Bantul has successfully done the final phase of the Field Work Practice (PKL) Batch 1 2026. This series of activities serves as the final assessment for hundreds of 11th-grade students who have completed their internships at various healthcare facilities and creative art industries.

The Principal of SMK Kesehatan Bantul emphasized that the evaluation and presentation aim to measure students’ competency achievements during PKL while also training their scientific communication skills.

Final PKL Batch 1 Agenda:

1. Monday, May 4, 2026: PKL Evaluation by Each Head of Department  
The activities began with an internal evaluation conducted by each Head of Study Program. The Heads of the Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Visual Design programs reviewed the completeness of PKL documents, student activity journals, and field supervisor assessments.

2. Wednesday–Friday, May 6–8, 2026: PKL Report Exam/Presentation  
Over three days, students took part presenting their PKL reports to their examiners consisting of vocational teachers. Presentation topics include the description of the internship site, activities performed, case studies, and reflections on competencies gained. After the presentation, students receive direct feedback and are required to revise their reports based on the examiners’ input on the same day.

3. May 8–11, 2026: Final Report Submission to Heads of Department  
PKL reports that have been revised and approved by supervisors must be submitted to the respective Head of Department no later than Monday, May 11, 2026. Submitted reports must be properly bound and include approval sheets from both the industry partner  and the school.

Purpose of the Activities

The Vice Principal for Public Relations at SMK Kesehatan Bantul explained, “This presentation is not just a formality. We want to ensure that students truly understand workflows in the healthcare field and can take responsibility for what they write in their reports. It also builds their confidence ahead of the upcoming Skills Competency Test.”

With the conclusion of this agenda, PKL scores will be compiled and will serve as one of the components determining graduation. The school hopes all Batch 1 students can complete every stage on time and that the PKL experience will prepare them to enter the real world of healthcare work and creative art industries.
